This morning our group went to downtown SF to hand out sandwiches and toiletries to homeless people. Part of this task was to hear the stories of the people we handed out items to. All of us had a very eye-opening experience and now see our lives from a different perspective.
After this we went to Laguna-Honda hospital, a state-run facility for elderly, mentally ill and those who can't afford regular hospital care. We did a wide variety of tasks including walking people in wheelchairs, playing games, eating ice cream and baking cake.
At night we headed to Fisherman's Wharf and visited tourist shops.
Thanks for all of your prayers and comments. Wifi still isn't working at the church, so no pics yet, although there are some good ones. Peace. :-)

We are praying for you!
Doris called me yesterday asking if your cell # was the best way to get in contact with you, I told her yes. She was calling on behalf of her Care Group, I think looking for an update and prayer req.
Also, FYI: it looks like this blog does not allow anonymous comments, is that how you want it?
